Help Build Our New Sanctuary!
This is an ongoing project for which we will need lots of help!
If you’ve ever wondered what it takes to set up an animal sanctuary, now’s your chance to not only learn but be a part of it! We’ve made great progress with our clean-up projects and are now moving on to setting up habitats and creating spaces designed specifically for the animals’ needs.
This is truly important work, and every task will directly impact the lives of our rescued animals. You can help create safe habitats, organize essential supplies, and shape a space that works for the animals who call it home.
This is a partial list of things we need to do:
- Setting up shelters and pens for the animals
- Painting and repairing sheds and fences
- Organizing supplies from the old farm
- Reinforcing ditches and ponds with rocks
- Dismantling old fences and structures
How You Can Help: If you can join us, please bring gloves, water, lunch, and any basic tools you have, like a hammer. There’s no water or electricity on-site yet, but a Porta Potty is available.
