Join Our First Cleanup at the New Farm!
Saturday September 30th & October 7th – 10am – 4pm
20 people needed for clearing brush and making fence repairs.
We’re reaching out to our community for some important assistance. We are beginning our very first cleanup task at the new farm, and we’re seeking volunteers to contribute their time and effort to help prepare the land for the animals.
What’s Involved: This project involves clearing the fence line of brush and debris in one of our new fields. Additionally, we’re repairing sections of the electric fence that have been damaged. No heavy lifting required – we’ve got an excavator taking care of that part. All we need is your enthusiasm and a pair of helping hands (and tools if you have them!).
How You Can Help: If you can spare some time and are interested in supporting our mission, we invite you to participate. Tasks will include the removal of rocks, clearing branches, and addressing some weeds. Any experience with electric fences would be a valuable asset, as we need assistance with fixing strands and replacing insulators.
What to Bring: If you have access to tools such as pruners, weed wackers, rigid rakes, leaf rakes, or gloves, your contribution would be greatly appreciated.
